Simple Rules¶
Simple alert rules provide straightforward on/off controls for transaction monitoring.
Creating a Simple Rule¶
- Go to Wallets → [Wallet] → Alerts
- Click Add Rule
- Select Simple Rule
- Configure settings
- Save
Rule Types¶
Any Deposit¶
Alert on all incoming transactions.
Configuration: - Type: Deposit - Condition: None - Result: Every deposit triggers an alert
Use case: Monitoring cold storage for any incoming activity
Any Withdrawal¶
Alert on all outgoing transactions.
Configuration: - Type: Withdrawal - Condition: None - Result: Every withdrawal triggers an alert
Use case: Security monitoring for unexpected spending
Deposit Above Amount¶
Alert when deposits exceed a threshold.
Configuration: - Type: Deposit - Minimum amount: 0.01 BTC - Result: Only deposits ≥ 0.01 BTC trigger alerts
Use case: Filter out dust, focus on meaningful deposits
Withdrawal Above Amount¶
Alert when withdrawals exceed a threshold.
Configuration: - Type: Withdrawal - Minimum amount: 0.1 BTC - Result: Only large withdrawals trigger alerts
Use case: Monitor for significant spending events

Cold Storage Monitoring¶
Rule: Any Deposit
└── Alert on all incoming transactions
Rule: Any Withdrawal
└── Alert on all outgoing (shouldn't happen!)
Daily Spending Wallet¶
Rule: Deposits > 0.001 BTC
└── Ignore small change returns
Rule: Withdrawals > 0.05 BTC
└── Only alert on larger purchases
Merchant Receiving¶
Rule: Deposits > 0.0001 BTC
└── Track customer payments, ignore dust
No withdrawal rule
└── Business wallets don't spend
Rule Priority¶
When multiple rules exist:
- Rules are evaluated in order
- First matching rule wins
- Can reorder rules by dragging
